Overall, it is clear in both countries spent the largest proportion of the total expenditures which was housing, food, and other goods and services. And the lowest proportion was on health care.
As it can be seen that in malaysia the highest percentage 34% was in housing. While in japan housing was 21%. japan spent the highest category on other goods and services was 29%, this was higher than in malaysia which was 26%. In term of food is the second highest proportion in both countries, malaysia got 27 % was more that in japan which was 24 %. The proportion on transport in japan got 20 % was more than in malaysia at 10 %. And the lowest proportion in both countries was heatlh care, in japan got 6 % was more than in malaysia which was 3 %.
