The lecturer and the article both discuss about wether dinosaurs were endotherms or not. The author provides three explanation about why dinosaurs were endotherms. The lecturer, however, challenges the statements made by the author. She is of the opinion that none of these theories are correct.

First of al, the author points out that dinnasaurs fossils which have been fonud in Polar Regions can be a good evidence for this claim, because only endotherm animals can live in such environments. This point is challenged by the lecturer. She says that in those days Polar Rigions were more warmer than today. Also, dinosaurs could migrate to warming place during the cold weather, or they could be hibrinated like some other reptiles.

Secondly, the reading passage contents that dinosaurs' leges were located in under their bodies, like endithermal animals. The lecturer, rebuts this argument by asserting that the other reason for the position of their legs is to tolerate more wiegth, because the dinosaurs has the huge size that needed to be supported.

Finally, it is stated in the article that the presence of Haversian canals which holded nerves and boold vessels, in their bons is the strong reson that they were endotherm. The lecturer, on the other hand posits that beside having this feature, Dinosurs' fossils show they bone have the signs of growth rings. the thickness of these rings can provide evidence that dinosaurs gowth more rapidly in the warm weather than cold weather.
