The bar charts present information about choices of graduate and postgraduate studentd who did not choose a full-time job after graduating in UK in 2008. As is shown from the charts, a vast majority of both of them went on further study while the tiny minority were involved in voluntary work, excluding ful time.
Specifically, within thr survey of UK graduates, the largest proportion of them chose to study further, at around 30,000. Only a small number of graduates of 3,500 was engaged in voluntary work. Both of the two choices accounted for about half of the data, and the other half went to part-time job and unemployment, with the number at approximately 17,000 and 16,000 respectively.
Similar to the percentages of the gradutes, postgraduates were surveyed on a smaller basis. The largest number at 2,725 comtinued their study, 2,535 in part-time job and 1,625 without employment. In addition, voluntary related work just received 345 postgraduates.
Overall, excluding full-time work, both graduates and postgraduates were pursuing higher education in 2008.
