Towards the north and south of S2 are two housing areas respectively. A main road originates from the industrial area on the south west of the town and passes through the outskirts towards Bransdon which is 16 km away and has a population of 15,000. Another main road begins from the south east and goes through the countryside all the way to Cransdon, 25 km away with a population of 29,000.
