The pictorial shows contrast the ratio of books read by gender at Burnaby Public Library between 2011 and 2014. A glance at the chart reveals that the percentage of books read by male and female growth gradually in the beginning of the sequence. Unfortunately, from 2013 onward, female readers experienced a rapid decrease while male continued to upsurge until the end of given period.
To begin with, the number of references accessed by female that stood at just above 20 percent of the averages in the initial, continued to leap to reach a thousand of copies in 2013 onward before it dropped rapidly in the end of sequence to eight thousand. Contrary, printed work read by male, although it only raised slightly in the first year, somehow it experienced a considerable escalation to approximately 80 percent of the population, i.e. 14000 readers in 2014.
