Secondary and higher education
Given two charts provide recent percentage of secondary and higher students in several major
regions namely Europe, Sub-Saharan Arabic, Latin America and East Asia. At the first glance, it is
evident that Europe has the highest percentage of pupils studying in both secondary and higher
education among other countries.
Advancing development in secondary education illustrated in first chart, Europe’s number of student
has become significant with percentage of almost 100 percent of female student and 90 percent of
male student. Besides, student in other countries are populated under 50 percent of secondary
student, and Sub-Saharan Arabic region has the least percentage of student valued approximately 20
percent of female student and more or less 10 percent of male student.
Meanwhile, the second chart reveals the population of female and male student in universities
nowadays. Of various region, Europe has administered the highest percentage of higher student of
nearly 50 percent whilst a quite similar percentage of student is seen on the other countries.
As for the proportion of male and female student, women, in overall, outnumber men studying in
secondary education while men outnumber women in college school.
