The table illustrates the fluctuation in the salaries of teachers in secondary and high schools in 2009 in 5 different countries.
Overall, teachers in Luxembourg had the highest level of income, while the figure for Australia witnessed the lowest. Additionally, Japanese teachers took more years to reach maximum salaries than other countries.
Looking at the three nations that had high levels of income, including Luxembourg, Japan, and Korea. Starting at 80,000 dollars for the freshers, teachers in Luxembourg could earn 119,000 dollars per month with 15 years of experience and 132,000 dollars after 30 years of working in the educational system. On the other hand, the figures for those working in Japan and Korea were significantly lower, at about 30,000 dollars for new teachers in both countries, followed by 86,000 dollars for a thirty-seven-year teacher in Japan and 62,000 dollars for a thirty-four-year teacher in Korea.
Turning to Australia and Denmark. Although the fluctuation in the beginning of the two nations was remarkable, at 28,000 dollars per month for Australian teachers and 45,000 dollars per month for those in Denmark, the variation decreased and was nearly the same after about over 8 years, at roughly 50,000 dollars for a teacher in a month.
