The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by tourist information office in six months in one city in 2011.
The line graph compares the figure of enquiries received by the tourist information office by telephone, letter/e mail and in person in one town from January to June in year 2011. Overall, it is noticeable that the number of enquiries received in person increased significantly whereas the figure of letter received declined throughout the period shown.
In January, the use of telephone is the most popular means receiving enquiries, this accounted for approximately 900. Next, enquiries received letter/email is just below 800. However, in person is the least means with above 400.
Between February and June, the figure of enquiries received through person rose gradually to overtook enquiries received letter/email and through telephone to peaked at approximately 1900. enquiries received through telephone remain stable at 100 between march and April before it jumped rapidly to hit highest point of 1600. In contrast to this, enquiries received through letter /email decreased steadily to 400in.may and remained unchange for the rest of the year.
