The chart below show the proportion of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010.
The pie chart compares the percentage of British scholars who were able to speak languages other than English in British university in two years(2000 & 210). Overall, it is noticeable that the proportion of students who speak Spanish only, another language and two other languages significantly increased while no I her language and French only witnessed a decline.
In 2000, Spanish language is he most populous language among the British scholars which representing less than third (30%) of total population, the figure that increased steadily to 35% in 2010. In contrast, student that speak no.other language accounted for fifth of total percentage the figure that decline by half in 2010 to 10%.
Student that were able to speak another language and French only shared the same proportion 10% in 2000, the former witnessed a slight increase to fifth of total percentage while the revise was the case in later. 10% of the students speaks two languages and German only. In 2010, he number of students who hat speak two languages rise gradually to 15% while German only remain unchanged 10%.
