The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six month period in 2011.

The given line graph illustrates the figure for queries from the Tourist Information Office during a period of six months from January to June 2011 with a one-city scale.

As can be seen from the graph, the number of the inquiries accepted in person had considerable accelerations and was the highest in the last surveyed month while the figure for telephone was the lowest after witnessing gradual declines over time, with that for letter or email having several varies during the investigated phase.

It is evident that from the beginning, in January 2011, the Tourist Information Office in one city received about 400 queries in person and this number increased two folds in March before peaking more than 1900 enquiries in the end of the period. The number of enquiries acquired by telephone saw dramatic fluctuations when in January, it was the highest with about 900 queries then it fell slightly to 800 in February and reached the figure of 1600, making it to the second position. The Tourist Information Office, with the scale of a city, accepted approximately 800 inquisitions and the figure decreased to just below 400 in the last month, June 2011.
