Dear Sir/Madam,
I feel the need to write to you due to the constant nuisance being created in the neighbourhood due to drilling work being carried out the next-door neighbours. Allow me to elaborate.
I am a resident of University Avenue and have been living here for more than 3 decades with my family. We really do not meddle with anyone’s affair or bother anyone, but that is not what we have been getting in return.
We have never faced a situation that is this extreme. There has been a construction project that has been going on next-door. The rate of drilling in the basement has gone up tremendously and is bothering us a lot. The work is being carried out without a permit. However, a permit is a secondary issue here, but the noise level is extreme and has affected our daily life. Moreover, I moved to the neighbourhood because it seemed like a very calm place to live. The experience is turning bitter after all these years.
Consequently, I request you to take actions with regards to the said issue. I would recommend that the construction project be stopped or the intensity of drilling should be reduced. Further, the workers could also be recommended to use light machinery.
I hope that some effective steps would be taken promptly.
Yours sincerely,
Brad Jason
