Overall, at the beginig of the period walking was the most popoular free time activity among the people of USA, while yoga was the least preferable to them. In comparison,at the end of the period it can clearly seen that walking remained the same position of people’s choice list and increased slightly, however jogging became the smallest part of the chart.
Swimming as a free time workout accounted for 9% in 1999 and experinced doubled increased which became 18% in 2009 and that was the biggest increased part of the pie charts.Soccer,camping and weightlifting were at 17%,8%, & 5% respectively at the 1st period of the decade and growth slightly to 18%,9% & 10% respectively in the last of the decade.Walking as a workout remained favourable to the USA's citizens in the both years 1999 & 2009 and it’s acceptance as lesiure activity increased only 2% from 29% to 31% after 10 year period.
Demand of aerobics as a rest time activity lost its populism almost 9% from 13% in 1999 to 4% in 2009.In 1999 bicycling was the third largest exoteric workout,but over the time it lost its glory and fell to 7% from 12%. Similarly jogging became the least significant part of the popularity was 3% in 2009.
