The line graph illustrates the weight of fish, lamb, beef and chicken used in a specific European nation from 1979 to 2004. Overall, while the consumption of fish nearly unchanged, other kinds of meat fluctuated wildly.
In 1979, beef was the most popular consumed food with above 200 grams per person per week. This number hit the peak in about 1984 with approximately 250 grams, which was followed by a rapid decrease to the end of this survey. Witnessing the same trend as beef was lamb. The consuming for this food per person started at 150 grams weekly but declined quickly to just higher than 50 grams in 2004.
Conversely, the consumption of chicken had a dramatic growth during the whole period, which reached the highest point in about 2003 with more than 250 grams per person over a week. In addition, although fish was used at least, its consumed volume was relatively stable around 50 grams through these years.
