remains of actual animal tissues in T.rex fossils
The reading passage and lecture have conflicting opinions about whether the relics of T.rex's leg bone carries real tissue of this animal. The article strongly postulates that there are three compelling explanations of why they assume there is real tissue. On the other hand, the speaker in the lecture adamantly delineates that none of the author's explanations is persuasive.
First and foremost, according to the author of the excerpt, the archaeologist found that there was a hollow which indicated there were blood vessels flowed through it. Furthermore, he asserts that this incredible discover revealed that soft essence existed in the channels which could represent its actual tissues. Nonetheless, the professor offsets these points by declaring that it might show bacteria's residues because after animals would die, bacteria colonized those fossils. Consequently, they left their remains in these chambers.
The lecturer further asserts that in the same place where these T.rex's fossils were found had other primitive animals' relics which had not any red cells in their blood veins. It goes without saying that the author's point of red cells grounded in reddish minerals, not original tissues. These claims refute the writer's implications about the presence of circles which illustrated that red blood cells might once flow through it. Besides, he points out that the spheres had red cores which contained iron- essential part of red cells to disperse oxygen through cells- and fitted with the size of red cells.
The text lastly insists that the experiment of the dinosaur leg bone indicated that it was highly possible to include collagen which was the integral biochemical material that investigators were trying to obtain it. The speaker in the listening counters these indications by mentioning that there was no evidence that collagen lasted long in fossils above 100000 years. However, in the author's point of view, 70-million-years old T.rex's fossil could contain collagen. Hence, the discovery of collagen might have caused by researchers' hand skins who was examining this fossil.
