The charts below show the percentage of time younger and older people spend on various Internet activities in their free time.
A glance at provided two pie charts reveals the rates of time passed on Internet activities except email of both 18-26 age people and 60-70 age people in their leisure.
On balance, there is an apparent disparity in terms of the each segment between two groups.
Regarding social networking figures, with 24 percent, it ranks first in the 18-26 age group and is three times more than that in the 60-70 age group. Moreover, the largest segment in the older group belongs to booking activities with nearly one-third, conversely, with only five percent, this activity accounts for the smallest percentage in the younger one.
The data for music and films in young citizens is higher than three percent that in elderly citizens in the comparison between 18 and 6 percent. By contrast, the rate of time on both purchasing and researching of the younger group is also lower than that of the older one. Last but not least is the data for the game that holds the minimum threshold for the old and accounts for 18 % for the young.
