Rich countries are helping poor countries through money, but they should also help them in another way. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is known fact that developed countries provide financial help to poor countries will not solve the poverty issue and therefore other effective methods needed to be addressed to improve the quality of life of people. I completely agree with this statement and this essay aims at discussing the supporting details to my point of view in further paragraphs.
There are various other methods available to help developing nations to improve the living standard of their people. First of all, in poor countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, citizens do not have access to health facilities. Many people die every year because of inadequate health facilities. To cite an instance, a survey was conducted by WHO and it was found that in these nations millions of people died every year because of tuberculosis, respiratory illnesses etc although these diseases are preventable and curable by early diagnosis and treatment. Therefore, rich nations can help these countries by building hospitals and providing efficient health services to these nations.
Secondly, the other most important way to help poor nations by empowering their education system. In most of these countries many people are illiterate and literacy rate is much lower as compared to the developed nations. This is the main contributing factor that people are living below poverty line. So, rich countries could help these countries by improving their education system through investing in infrastructure and sending their well trained teachers. This approach will definitely help to improve the literacy rate of poor countries.
In conclusion, having considered all the points elaborated above it can be stated that there are number of methods available other than the financial aid to poor countries to eradicate their poverty and improve quality of life.
