You went to the local hospital's emergency department with your young child who had severe stomach pains. You had to wait for almost four hours before your daughter was treated by a doctor and while you were waiting, you were constantly ignored by the other staff. Write a letter to the registrar, complaining about the service you received.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to complain about the local Civil Hospital Toronto's staff because of their negligible behaviour for an emergency case of my daughter.
Last week, my daughter suddenly fell on the floor due to unbearable stomach ache. We all got extremely worried and I took her to the civil hospital's emergency ward to get her treated. I was shocked to hear from the head nurse that they are occupied with other works and therefore cannot admit my daughter at the moment.
I had no other option than to wait. While I was seeking for the helper, I made request to many other staff members but I was totally ignored. I heard the doctor and other faculty members were gossiping inside the ward.
I would request you to take strict action towards this kind of unacceptable treatment. I had to wait for four hours to get my daughter admitted and till that time she suffered a lot. To avoid any mishaps owing to the ignorance of staff, every staff member should follow the rules of emergency department.
Hoping for a prompt and strict action on this.
Yours faithfully,
Patrick Smith.
