In general, the number of visits to abroad tend to experience increase during the pointed years and holiday was the main reason for it. Besides, Western Europe was the most favorite destination through those four years.
A more detailed look at the graph reveals that from 1994 to 1998, approximately 60%-75% UK citizens who travelled to abroad was for holiday. The travellers who went overseas for business and for visiting to friends and relatives had slight difference number. Furthermore, form 1994 to 1998, the British visitors of Western Europe always increased. However, the same visitors of North America decreased by 5. In addition, around 80% travellers visited Western Europe during those years.
