The chart below shows the number of passengers who used public transport in Somewhere town from 2012 to 2015.
The bar chart compares how many passengers participating in three different public transportation in Somewhere city between 2012 and 2015.
Looking at the graph, it is immediately obvious that the amount of resident used a tram increased over the period shown, while the other transport experienced a strong fluctuation.
In 2012, the train was the most popular way to move, at about 80,000, compared to around 55,000 people chose to go to by bus. By contrast, the tram was the least common, just nearly 20,000 passengers using this type of vehicle.
Over the three years ensuing, an upward trend happening in the number of commuters by the tram made it becoming the most familiar form of transport, at approximately 95,000 in 2015. Meanwhile, the amount of customers using the train recovered at over 62,000 after hitting the lowest point of about 10,000 residents in 2013. Similarly, the figure for the bus reached a peak of almost 70,000 users in 2014 before falling to roughly 60,000 clients.
