You live in a room in college which you share with another student.
However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it
very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter
describe the situation
explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you about the problems that I am facing due to the room partner and his activities.
I am a final year student of Integrated Diploma in Interior Designing and living in the Double Coast accommodation of your college with a fresher student. He is not sincere at all about his studies and other responsibilities. I have warned him many times but all in vain. I could not concentrate on my studies, which would affect my overall performance in the final term.
Firstly, he creates a lot of mess in the room every time by throwing rappers everywhere inside the room. At the time of cleaning, he uses to make unwanted calls to his friends living abroad. Secondly, he is fond of music and plays the Guitar at night times, which thereby disturbs me in studying as well as sleeping. Also, he borrows things of mine without even asking me. These things made me annoyed.
Nevertheless, I would like to request you to change my room as earlier as possible. I want a single-seated room in the nearby locality of college. It would really help me to study well for my forthcoming examination. I would be grateful if you take this matter into consideration.
Anxiously waiting for a positive response.
Yours faithfully,
John Woods
