You need to take leave from your work of over one month for personal reasons.
Write a letter to your boss. In your letter:
Explain the reason for the leave and the length of leave you need.
How you will keep up-to-date while you are away
Suggest how your work could be covered while you are away
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to request you for granting me a leave of over a month owing to some private reason.
The reason behind taking a leave is quite interesting. I am going to my native country for getting married. My parents have fixed the date of marriage and they prepared everything. Therefore, I need a leave of about seven weeks to enjoy the ceremony as it is my special occasion. I have to get my dress ready beforehand, so I need to go there a week before.
I know my job is demanding. Because of this, I have already accomplished my pending assignments and meetings. I will join our official webinars regularly to stay updated. Not only this, but I will also take every updation from my colleagues on the phone related to the workplace. Hence, my leave will not become burdensome to you.
Nonetheless, I would suggest you to consult Mr.Wimson Woods, if you need any query about my submitted assignments as I will give my locker keys to him. He will also make-up my absence by doing my work. Kindly grant my leave as soon as possible.
Looking forward for a positive response from your side.
Yours faithfully,
Thomson Vig
