You have a full-time job and you are also doing a part-time evening course.
You now find that you cannot continue the course.
Write a letter to your teachers. In your letter
• describe the situation -
• explain why you cannot continue at this time
• say what action you would like to take
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Dear Mr. Singh,
I am writing this letter to inform you that I will not able to continue with the MS-Office computer course which I have joined previous month. I had been learning a lot of advance features of the Microsoft office. As you aware, I am working as a Sales Manager in ICICI bank and due to unavoidable circumstances, I force to take the decision to discontinue the course.
Allow me to elaborate, actually, I have promoted to the senior post of a sales manager with new role and responsibilities. Hence, I have to concentrate more on the given tasks and I do not want to leave any negative impression on the management team. Therefore, I have decided to discontinue with computer course and I would love to resume this course in the near future.
As far as I am concerned, I think that I have completed 70 percent syllabus of the course and I have made the advance payment for the course. Therefore, I would really appreciate you could provide me with the notes for the remaining course.
I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Yours Sincerely,
Deepak Sharma
