The diagram shows a method of shaping glass containers.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
This report aims to provide information about the process of how the glass containers are manufactured in the factory.
In order to produce glass containers, the raw material (little pieces of glass) gets heated before being progressed through 6 other steps, ultimately produced glass containers.
First of all, small pieces of glass are collected and heated in a furnace at 105 °C, after that hot glass is then pressed in the first mould to make a shape of the container (thick wall). That thick wall is transferred to another mould, being shaped by letting the air in. In the kiln, the aforementioned product is hardened in the 482°C heat and hardened further in the cooling machine for an hour. In the final stage, the glass container is being tested for the quality control individually by an expert. The low-quality products are then removed to the waste, while the qualified glass containers are packed in the sealed box, ready for the household and company use.
