You recently went on a business trip and stayed in a hotel. Upon your return home you realized you left some things at the hotel. Write a letter to the hotel manager, stating:
– The details of your stay
– The items you left behind
– What you want the manager to do.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have stayed in your hotel while I was attending a sales review meeting. I am writing to seek information about things which I have left behind.
During an annual sales review meeting, I rented a room in your hotel from July 5, 2020, to July 7, 2020, as this place was a couple of minutes of walk away from my meeting venue. If I remember correctly, the suite number was 105 that is a part of building C of the hotel.
On 7 July my taxi arrived before the scheduled time. Owing to this, I packed my suitcase in a hurry and forgot my smart wallet as well as hand watch that I had left in one of the drawers besides the master bedroom. If you have already sent the housekeeping staff in that suite, there are chances they have already located my items.
Could you please ask your staff to search for the items or in case you have them already, would you please send them to me via express delivery; since the mini wallet has my official Ids which are crucial in order to travel abroad. I will bear the cost of the delivery just email me the fee receipt, and I will transfer the specified amount.
Please respond at your earliest convenience.
Yours faithfully,
Alex Barns
