Tell the manager what you want he/she to do
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Tara W and I am writing to ask for your help of some important papers that I left at the hotel.
I attended the two-day meeting at your hotel yesterday. Thus I had spent a day and a night in room B102. Until I came back home, I realized I had left my papers in the hotel room. These papers were noted and have a blue cover. I remember that I put them into the cabinet beside the bed at night, but I left without checking in the next morning.
These documents are very crucial to my work at the moment. My colleagues and I had spent a month for preparation and record, therefore, it can not be redone. To make matter worse, I did not make any copies of these.
As you can imagine, I am extremely in need of these papers. I would be very grateful if you could send the papers to my address. I highly appreciate your help and kindness. Please contact me on my phone number whenever you have any related information. I look forward to your reply.
Yours faithfully,
