The flow chart shows the after-effects of deforestation.
Overall, it is clear that cutting down the forests eventually reverts with varied consequences. It has four major issues faced immediately post jungle clearance.
The first impact is, while removing trees and saplings from the soil the department uses heavy machinery, due to which the soil becomes hards and baked as it gets compressed heavily. Thus, rainwater flows over this land thereby increasing the chance of a flood.
The second impact is, topsoil also erodes, and the farming on such soil becomes far more difficult losing its quality.
Furthermore, the third issue arises is the risk of wildfires increases whether it be deliberately or accidentally, the woods of these trees get destroyed, and also the micro-organism feeding on it gets reduced effectively. These ultimately lead to the degradation of vegetation.
The last problem is, in return, the plants start exhibiting less moisture to the air which loses its precipitation and increases the dryness and drought on the barren land
