The bar chart illustrates the spending of money on different forms of entertainment in Asia, Europe and the United States in 1995 and 2000. The forms of entertainment are television, publishing, music, video and cinema.
Overall, it is clear that the over a five-year period people spent more money on entertainment in every represented part of the world. And the Unites States remains the biggest as well as the most fast-growing market for different types of entertainment. Over 5 years the expenses there increased by 75 billion dollars, while in Asia and Europe they increased by 43 billion and 34 billion dollars respectively.
In 1995 in The United States, Europe and Asia people spent the most on publishing, and it is still true for 2000. The expenses on this form of entertainments as well as on television and video grew the over the research period. And while the music sector showed the increase in the United States and Asia, in Europe it decreased slightly. The amount of money that people spend on cinema did show the significant change over a five-year period in any analyzed parts of the world.
