A friend of yours is thinking of going on a camping holiday for the first time this summer. He/ She has asked for your advice.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
1.explain why you think your friend would enjoy a camping holiday
2.describe some possible disadvantages
3. say whether you would like to go camping with your friend this summer.
Dear Alice,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I received your letter yesterday and I am glad that you asked for my advice on your plan to go for a camping holiday this summer. Although this is your first time, I would definitely recommend you to go ahead with this trip as it is adventurous and full of fun and you will have lots of memories to cherish by the end of the trip.
Since camping involves stay in unfamiliar conditions, you might encounter few problems like using open toilet and you will have to manage your daily activities with limited resources. Hence, make sure you prepare the list of essential items in advance and carry everything required in your backpack.
If I get my holiday approved from office then I will also join you for the trip. In that way, I can also help you to make your trip better as I have been doing camping every summer since past five years and I have all the resources like camping tent, portable cooking stove and so on.
I am looking forward to meeting you and let me know if you require anything for the camping holiday.
With regards,
Sruthy
