In 1987, all categories showed a positive trend in their prices. Rates of fresh fruits and vegetables increased drastically in the following years after a surge in 2007, which decreased below 320% by 2009. It was bigger than the others. Following next, the consumer price index and sweets, prices of both rose steadily over time, which were 160% and 200% respectively in 2009. Moreover, rates of carbonated drinks increased at a constant rate from 1987 to 2009, which were at below 150% by 2009.
