The line graph represents the changes in price between food products and CPI from 1978 to 2009
Overall, it is clear that the price changes of both food groups and CPI have tended to increase during the period shown. Besides, the value of fresh fruit and vegetable accounted for the highest percentage while the figure of CIP made up for the lowest percentage
In 1979,the value of fresh fruits and vegetable remained around above 50 .In the following years , the price changes of fresh fruits and vegetable dramatically rose up to approximately 340 which was the highest point during the period of 30 years
The other’s figures also remained the same as fresh fruits and vegetable ,at approximately 50 in 1979.After that all of the lines steadily increased. Specifically , the price changes of both sugar and sweet and carbonated drinks slowly fluctuated to 200 and approximately 150 respectively ,which was slower than the figure of CIP in 2009
