Your friend is thinking about learning to drive and would like some advice. Write a letter to your friend.
- Say why a driving license is advantageous
- Recommend a driving school
- Give extra guidance/ tips
Dear Rahul,
I hope this letter finds you in pink of health. It makes me very happy that you have decided to learn to drive because I will no more have to drive you to the parties.
Jokes apart, having a driving license makes life much easier, especially for people like you who have a hectic schedule all day along. The absence of license will land you in trouble if you are caught by traffic police at stop lights or a routine check. Moreover, you can simply drive anywhere for your work while saving money you spend cabs and it will also be fun for you to go on family vacations in your own car.
There are a couple of good driving schools in the area, which provide driving license for various commercial and personal vehicles. But since you are willing to learn it for your personal use, I would like to recommend ABC driving school because their trainers are very efficient and experienced. They gave me 30% discount on the training cost, so I hope you will get a good offer as well.
Although it has been ages since I learnt to drive, from personal experience I suggest you to wear shoes because the hard sole creates even pressure on the clutch pedal making driving easier. So, make sure you have a good pair of leather shoes before you go for your first driving lesson.
I really hope that it will soon be you who will drive me to the parties like I always did.
Take care and see you soon
Lakshay
