The graph below shows the amounts of waste produced by three companies over a period of 15 years.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The line graphs display the quantity of waste generated by three different firms between 2000 and 2015.
Overall, the only company that increased its wastes over the whole period was the third one, which overtook the numbers of the company A, which was dominant in 2000, the first year reported.
In 2000, the company which produced more waste was the A with 12 tonnes, followed by the B and C with approximately 8.5 and 3.6, respectively. However, while these last two companies started growing, the first experienced a gradual decrement to reach a value of 8.5, its lowest point, in 2015. However, at the end of the period analyzed, company A had still the dominance over the company B.
Analyzing the trends of companies A and B over the whole period, we can notice that, even if they are both decrescent, their behaviours are slightly different. While the former experienced a growth over the first 5 years and, after that, began a dramatic drop, the latter begin its fall immediately, in 2000. However, the fall of the first was far more sloped than the second one, which mantained its value more stable.
