The given diagram shows how carbonated drinks are produced. Overall, the production of carbonated water involves raw water undergoing 5 essential steps consists of cleaning, heating, mixing with other ingredients, filtering, filling, and finally packaging and delivering to the general public.
In the first stage, water will be cleaned. Firstly, raw water is put into the filter where it is softened by particular chemicals and then pumped to the electric heater where the second stage called “heating evaporation and carbonation” happens. According to this stage, water from the heaters will undergo the cooling pipe to the carbon dioxide area where the water is transformed into carbonated water.
In the third stage, the carbonated water will be mixed in a mixing tank with colouring, syrup and flavours. After that, in the fourth stage, the water will filter and fill bottles and cans then they are all available for packaging and delivering to supermarkets and customers.
