Writing task 1

The line graph indicates the propotion of scotland tourists who visited four different attractions in Edinburgh from 1983 to 2010 . Overall, the percentage of Scotland tourists to Festival remains stable , while the other 3 places have a noticeable change over the period . Additionally, registering a rapid rise in the figures, Castle is predicted to be a destination with the highest percentage of tourists.
In 1980, 10% of Scotland tourists went visiting zoo,but Aquarium exceeded Zoo by 10%, which is a considerable figure . Also , Castle and Festival recorded 24% and 30% respectively in the same year . Over the next 10 years, Aquarium’s figure experienced a considerable fluctuation , from 20% to about 35 then decreased of 20%. In around 1994,propotion of tourists to Castle overtook that of Festival, when each witnessed 26% , becoming the most appealing place. Also , Scotland tourists to Zoo rose and fell moderately, within 10 % and 20% in the figure .
From 1990 to 2010 , Castle overtook the other 3 places , reaching a peak of 45% , becoming by far the most attractive destination of all . However , the propotion of it rapidly declined to 30% , Besides , after significantly fluatuated , the npercentage of tourists visiting Aquarium drop from about 22% to just 9% at the end of the period , which is the lowest point of the graph . It also can be seen that the number of Scotland tourists to Festival keeps unchanging from over the long period .
