The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after 5 years.
The pie chart illustrates the occupation of Anthropology students graduating from one university, while the table compares their income in different sectors after five years of graduation.
It is clear that a vast majority of Anthropology graduated students chose a full-time job, whereas part-time work and postgraduate study were less to be chosen. In addition, in terms of salaries, most Anthropology graduates earn over $ 75 thousand, but the incomes for those working in freelancer consultants and government sector were higher than in private companies.
Looking at the pie chart in more details, more than a half of the graduated students were employed full-time while the proportion of graduates working part-time or not having a job are significantly lower, with 15% and 12% respectively. It was not a common choice for people after graduation to study full-time after their graduate with 8%, and the equivalent is exactly true with those whose occupations were unidentified. The percentage of Anthropology graduates choosing to study combining with working part-time was the lowest, which accounted for just 5%.
Regarding the table, freelancer consultants were employed with upper salary scale with equally 40% for both 75,000- 99,999 dollars and more than a hundred dollars, while only one-fifth of them were paid with the salary ranging from $ 25,000 to under $75,000. A similar pattern is true for those working in the government sector, except more people earned the working payment of $ 100,000 with 50% and 30% of graduates received $75,000 to $99,999. In contrast, private companies were recorded to pay a lower salary, with only 55% of people earned the upper income collectively, whereas 10% were paid the lowest income and 35% received the payment from $50,000 to $74,999.
