Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to express my concerns related to arriving late at the office because of computing through public means of transport.
I apologize for coming late for the past five days because my car engine got broken down last week while I was going back home. Recently, I had bought this car because it was a convenient and efficient means of transport to coming into the city from my place.
As you know, I live in the outskirts of the city and my current situation that my car engine got broken down. Thus, For the last five days, I am traveling from city bus to the office till the time my car gets fixed as I have already sent two days back to repair all parts of the engine. The first bus in the morning comes at 10 am and you know my shift starts at 10:30 am. The time duration takes for coming to the office from my home takes about an hour. Therefore, I am coming half-hour late because the bus comes at 10 am and there are no buses available on my route to the office in the central town before 10 am.
I would request you to please understand the problem I am facing while coming half-hour late for work. If there is any chance to come early, could you help in arranging an office cab for a couple of days till the time my car gets fixed. In this way, I can start coming on time to the firm or if you cannot provide a cab, please allow me to come around 10:30 for the next week as my car will come next week with a new engine.
I am hoping to hear a positive response from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Shwatank Bhasin
