You are going for a one-week vacation and your friend agreed to stay at your place while you are away. Write a letter to him/her.
In your letter, you should:
thank her/him and tell the dates of your holiday
explain how he/she enters the house
describe what you expect him/her to do.
Dear Rose,
First of all, I want to thank you for staying at my apartment while I'm away. Anyway, I am writing this letter to give quick information about some do's and dont's while living at my place.
I'll be leaving tomorrow before sunrise, and I'll be giving the apartment keys to the security guard whom you'll find on the ground floor during security checks into my building. I've informed the security guard that you'll be coming to collect the keys to my apartment and will be staying for a week during my absence. I'll come back to the city on 15th July 2021.
Once you entered my building, you may go onto the seventh floor at 701 house address. The number 701 is the address of my Rockwood society building 4. By any chance, if you have problems opening up the lock of my house, give me a ring and I'll solve the problem for you. Apart from this, please ensure to pick up newspaper and milk bottle from the front door on a daily basis in the morning or else it will be left out and the front door mattress would get dirty. You'll find the guest room unlock, and other bedrooms locked. Also, I have made a checklist for all the necessities to ensure that you do not face any problems while living at my place. Finally, please be careful to make a serene environment as all the residents living in my society do not like loud music noises. So, if you want to play the music, keep the doors and windows locked. After coming back, I'll take you out to your favorite restaurant which is in Downtown.
Looking forward to seeing you on my return.
Regards,
Shwatank
