The given graph illustrates the fast food consumption of teenagers in Australia in terms of three different types over a course of 25 years starting from 1975.
As can be seen from the graph, it is clearly evident that the amounts of pizza and hamburgers consumed witnessed an upward trend, while it was the opposite for fish and chips consumption during the period shown. At first, the figure for fish and chips was the largest; however, hamburgers became the most popular fast food at the end of the period.
Starting from 10 times eaten, the amount of hamburgers consumed rose exponentially to over 80 times in the next 10 years. A similar trend was witnessed in that of pizza, where it went up noticeably from only around 5 times to some 30 times eaten. On the other hand, the popularity of fish and chips slightly went down from 100 times to around 95 times eaten.
Over the next 10 years, the amounts of pizza and hamburgers eaten experienced a dramatical climb, followed by a stability at around 85 and 100 times eaten for the rest of the period. By contrast, that of fish and chips dived by over 60 times eaten, where it hit the lowest level in the last year.
