The line chart compares the amount of money a country spent on education, medical care, and pension from 2001 to the present and a future projection up to 2051. The data is given as a percentage of the total expenditure.
Overall, up to the present, the spending on education remained more or less the same throughout the period, while the amount of money for medical care declined steadily. In contrast, there was a gradual rise in the money spent on pension. The current trends for all 3 expenses are anticipated to continue up to 2051.
In terms of education, in 2001, the country spent approximately 15% of their budget, the highest expenditure, and the proportion witnessed a very slight reduction to 14% in 2021. It is expected that this proportion will not be changed till 2051. As opposed to education, medical care consumed around 11% of the finances, which is suggested to be increased to exactly 12% in 2021. However, there will be a dramatic fall in the future to reach a low of one-twenty-fifths of the budget, which will be the least proportion.
In contrast, pensions consumed 6% of the country’s money for the last 20 years, the least proportion; however, the figure is forecasted to jump to 18% in the next 30 years, which will be the highest ratio of the budget.
