The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement making process and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes Summaries the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

The given pictures illustrate the main stages which take place in the process of making cement and the production of concrete using cement.

Overall, there are 5 main stages in the cement-producing process starting with limestone and clay being crushed, and the production of concrete includes 4 different ingredients. While the process of cement contains several tools, concrete only requires a concrete mixer to be made.

In the first stage of making cement, limestone and clay are collected and crushed into powder before being mixed in a mixer The mixture is then transferred to a rotating tube and heated under high temperature from constant heat on one end of it. Subsequently, a grinder with rollers is used to produce the final product - cement. It is finally packed in bags before being used for building purposes.

Regarding the process of producing concrete, concrete consists of mainly gravel, which is small stones, making up 50% of the ingredients. Other used materials are sand (25%), cement (15%) and water (10%). They are finally put into a concrete mixer which continually rotates to combine the ingredients and ultimately form concrete.
