Write a report for a university lecturer, describing the information shown below.
The chart illustrates the findings of an adult education survey. The horizontal bar graph gives information about the reasons behind adults deciding to study(Interest in subject, To gain qualification, etc.). The pie charts puts forward poeple's expectance of how the cost for education be shared among taxpayer, individual, and the employer.
Overall, majority of adults i.e. 40%, go for study due to their interest in the subject. On the other hand, only 9% have the reason as "To meet people".
People believe that about 40% of the cost of education should be paid by the individual and about 25% should come from taxpayer.
Exactly 38% of the adults decide to study further to gain qualifications needed for their respective fields. 22% feel the need to study as it would be helpful
for them in their current job. There is an equal percentage of people who study to improve prospects of promotion and the people who enjoy studying, i.e. 20%.
There are 12% of people who study as they want to be able to change jobs.
Looking at the reasons of adults deciding to study further, it is quite clear that a good amount of them are related to being able to change jobs or get higher pay through promotions, which makes sense that 35% of the cost of education should be shared by the employer.
