The bar chart depicts the proportion of students of different countries continuing the pedagogical system with tertiary education in three distinctive years with a five-year gap, starting with 2000.
Overall, in all considered nations, youngsters applying for universities and colleges the most in 2010 whereas this notion is the least prevalent in 2000. In addition, the number of country D’s students on a national scale also constituted the lion’s share of the chart with 80%.
As per the chart, in 2000, out of four nations, D was the most educated country with the percentage of the matter reaching the 80% mark, whereas the proportion of country A and B were just somewhere in the vicinity of 40%. However, five years later, except for country B with a slight 2% decrease, the other nations – A, C, D all witnessed a rise in the number of youngsters applying for higher education with 45%, 52% and 65%, respectively.
When considering the last year of the time period, country A saw a mere 10% increase which is somewhat similar to the trend seen in country D. Nevertheless, the latter climbed up more significantly than the former. Lastly, country B had a minuscule recovery while country C reached a plateau of the previous year’s figure (approximately 52%).
