Moreover, the spending on resources, in 1981, comprised 15% of the expenditure and this amount, in 1991, grew to 20% and eventually, in 2001, shrank to 9%. Besides, other workers' salaries had always been on the decline, from 28% in 1981 to 15% in 2001. Overall, since 1981 the annual expenditure of the school in the UK has experienced some moderate changes.
