Essay topics:

The diagram shows the life cycle of a frog.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram illustrates different stages of a frog during its life cycle.
Overall, there are six main stages in the process, beginning with the mating and ending with the adult frog. It is also noticeable that the frog witnesses certain physical changes during the course of its life.
First of all, the male and female adult frogs mate with each other. The female frog then lays a large number of small eggs, which are known as frogspawn, in the water. At this stage, the frogspawn hatches and many small tadpoles appear. Over a period of time, the tadpole grows bigger and their limbs begin to form.
In the fifth stage of development, the tadpole starts to turn into the young frog. Although it still lives in the water, the tail is shorter than before and limbs develop significantly. At the final stage, the young frog becomes mature, removing the tail and developing the limbs fully. It is ready to leave the former habitat and continues to grow in size, finding the frog in the opposite sex to mate. The life cycle continues again.
