Some people think children should have the freedom to make mistakes, while other people believe that adults should prevent children from making mistakes. DISCUSS
Many hold a belief that offspring are allowed to try anything, even errors; while opponents argue that parents should have measures to protect their children from blunder. To the best of my knowledge, the former point of view is more reasonable for the following reasons.
Firstly, it is note-worthy that making mistakes is one of contributive factors of bravery to enhance ability to solve problems. Nowadays, many sociological studies have shown that although it is invisible, the number of blunders is accompanied by the increasing lessons about contemporary society. Therefore, it will be a grave mistake to overlook the fact that failure is inevitable, and people should regard them as an opportunity for personal growth and live their life to the fullest. For example, when children made several mistakes, they would realize their weakness and improve the wrong things, which does a great job in building responsibility and persistence. Thís example is the illustration of the fact that offspring should experience challenges and falsify in social life.
Secondly, the counter-argument raised by opponents to this is that parents play an instrument in educating and preventing their children from making mistakes, because children are not mature enough to decide their actions. This argument could be true to some extent; however, it is incomplete. What they fail to take into account is the fact that adults can not force their children to obey completely, which has resulted in feeling constrained for their children. Furthermore, parents should give their offspring opportunities to try something and make mistakes in the allowed range. As a result, these challenges and lessons are a stepping-stone to exploring themselves.
In conclusion, teenagers should do their favours including failure, which creates more experiences in social life as mentioned above.
