Moreover, the software for games and CDs stood respectively at approximately $12 billion and $16 billion. In 2001, the selling of games software and CDs rose slightly 5 billion dollars, while the figures for videos witnessed a small drop.
In 2002, the revenue for CDs still fell gradually and experienced a small increase in 2003. During the last 2 years in the given period, the total money that earned from games softwares was level off at nearly 15 billion dollars. Furthermore, the profits from DVDs had a dramatic growth with 10 billion dollars in 2 years.
