The charts show the info about the use of the Internet in five countries in Europe in 2000.
Given are the two charts delineating the proportion of European citizens surfing the internet as well as how much they spent on distance shopping in five certain countries: Germany, Sweden, France, Spain and the UK in 2000.
Perceptibly, in all of the shown nations, Sweden recorded by far the highest rate of people using the World wide web, while the reverse was true for Spain. Besides, Spanish was also at least attracted by virtual shopping compared to people from other countries mentioned.
From the bar chart, in 2000, obviously, Sweden enjoyed widespread popularity among other countries with 35% of the population devoting time on cyberspaces. The UK was the second in terms of the percentage of netizens with 20% accounted, which was followed by Germany, France and Spain. Coincidentally, the rates of them had a disproportion of 5 percent lower compared to the prior country one by one.
As the information shown from the pie chart, by far the most expenditure on common people for purchasing through the extranet were the British UKs and the Swedes with 87 and 76 euros on average in turn. Third and fourth belonged to French and German with 57 and 46 euros respectively reported. Meanwhile, acquiring merchandise from online shops was not favored by Spanish when only 10 euros was paid by each individual constituted in 2000.
