The diagram below shows the various stages involved in the production of beer.
The diagram shows the different steps which are used to produce beer. It can be seen that there are nine main steps in the process, starting with the milling of malted barley and ending with the packaging of beer.
At the first stages of the process, malted barley is milled in a machine, then mashed with water and lautered in tanks. In addition, in the lautering stage, it is separated into the liquid and solid matter and solid matter is used to feed animals. After that, the liquid is boiled with the mixture of sugar and hops, continuously stirred in the whirlpool machine before being cooled.
In the next steps, the cooled liquid has to be fermented with yeast, and after a certain amount of time, yeast and CO2 are removed in order to prevent beer from turning into vinegar. After the maturing process completes, beer is filtered and packaged into bottles, kegs or vans for transportation.
