It is clear that the total of carbon dioxide went down in three out of the five countries, only rose in China and India. However, there were increased changes in the amount of carbon dioxide of each person in three countries namely China, The US and India.
The US had the highest amount of carbon dioxide in both years, with the production of carbon dioxide in each person rose by 2%, from at 20.1 tonnes in 2017. The year 2018 saw a dramatic increase in the total amount of carbon dioxide in China from 5130 million tonnes to 2018 million tonnes and went up by 11% per person. The increase of the amount of carbon dioxide in each person followed by India stood at 8%.
There were similar changes in the amount of carbon dioxide per person, at 10 tonnes in 2017 and there were no changes in Russia and Japan.
