The diagram illustrates the production steps of sugar which is making from sugar cane.
Overall, this process is comprised of 7 different steps which begin with the growth of the sugar canes and end with the drying and cooling of sugar.
Firstly, sugar canes grow for between 12 to 18 months to be harvested. So, in the second step, canes can be harvesting with two different ways. One of them is using agricultural trucks and the other one is harvesting by hand. After that, harvested canes crush with a device for acquire the juice of these canes.
In the fourth step, the juice is purifying by limestone filter with the aim of achieve the pure juice of sugar canes. Next step is the formation of syrup from juice with evaporator. Sixth step of this process is centrifugate the syrup and thus, sugar crystals can be separated from syrup. In the last step, sugar put in a can for drying and cooling.
